Children Without Frontiers Trust is a UK-based charitable organisation, founded in 2024, working to channel resources from the United Kingdom to children in Mozambique and Bulgaria.
What began in 2024 as a small initiative led by founder Lia Moskov has grown into a focused trust dedicated to one principle: the most effective way to help children is to support those already trusted to do the work.
Children Without Frontiers Trust began as a much smaller project in 2024. Witnessing the disparity between resources available in the UK and the urgent needs of vulnerable children abroad, our founder set out to build a vehicle for responsible philanthropy — one that would direct funds with rigour, transparency, and respect for local expertise.
From the start, the model was clear: rather than building parallel programmes from scratch, we would partner with established NGOs already working on the ground, contributing what UK supporters could best provide — sustained financial backing, awareness, and accountable governance.
We believe the most respectful, effective form of international cooperation is one that recognises and reinforces local capacity. The organisations we partner with have decades of experience, deep community trust, and qualified frontline staff. Our role is to ensure they have the resources to continue and expand that work.
We also believe that philanthropy should be transparent. Every donation flows through documented grant agreements, with reporting requirements and use-of-funds verification — because supporters deserve to know that their generosity is matched by stewardship.
Every value we hold is tested in the places our partners work each day.
Open governance, documented decisions, and accountable reporting on every grant we make.
Lean operations and rigorous due diligence ensure donations achieve maximum impact.
We support local expertise rather than impose external programmes or priorities.
Every initiative we fund must demonstrably serve the dignity and development of children.
International cooperation rooted in humility and recognition of local knowledge.
We commit to outcomes, not gestures — with reporting frameworks built into every partnership.
The Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees responsible for strategic oversight, financial stewardship, safeguarding, due diligence on partner NGOs, and full compliance with the Charities Act.
Trustees meet at least twice annually. All grant payments are governed by written agreements specifying conditions, reporting requirements, and permitted use of funds. Annual accounts are prepared to UK charitable standards.

"This trust exists because I believe in the people doing the work — the doctors in Beira, the teachers in Sofia, the volunteers showing up daily. Our job is to make sure they have what they need to keep showing up."Lia Moskov, Founder & Chair
